Eielson AFB- 354th Medical Group

The 3MDG is a Joint Venture Hospital which serves the health care needs of 106,000 DoD and VA beneficiaries. This modern, well-equipped facility opened in May 1999 and offers a full range of primary care and specialty services, providing comprehensive care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The 3MDG also supports a robust medical deployment mission. Many medical group members are on standby to respond, with appropriate equipment, to contingency situations worldwide.

The 354MDG, which is located 20 miles east of Fairbanks, provides outpatient medical services for approximately 8,000 military beneficiaries residing in the interior. The 354MDG operates a primary care service and utilizes the nearby Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fairbanks as their primary referral facility to provide additional health care services.
