Bassett Army Community Hospital

The New Bassett Amry Community Hospital under construction in Nov 2005
The Army in Alaska: Located an hour’s drive south of the Arctic Circle in Fairbanks, Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH) has the distinction of being the military’s northern-most hospital. BACH opened a new efficient 32-bed hospital, in May 2007. BACH directs the medical activities of Alaska’s other Army facilities, the Fort Richardson Troop Medical Clinic (TMC), and the Fort Greeley Aid Station. The TMC provides outpatient medical care to army soldiers in the greater Anchorage area by providing sick call, primary care, routine examinations, and optometry to active duty members. The Fort Greeley Aid Station provides limited sick call services.
