Educational Offerings

The Federal Education Sharing Group (FESG) coordinates, produces, and delivers educational offerings to health care providers, professionals, and even beneficiaries. The FESG is made up of federal nurse educators from all partners’ facilities and works under the guidance of the Planning Committee and the Executive Committee to determine the content and number of educational offerings.

March 16 (Anchorage) & 17 (Fairbanks) – Behavioral Health (Clinical Focus):  Once a Warrior:  Wired for Life, presented by Dr. Bridget Cantrell.  This will be a workshop for health care providers, caring for TBI and PTSD patients and their families.  It will cover an overview of suicide, substance abuse, PTSD, TBI, and stress management.   ”As battles cease, weapons get stacked, and peace treaties are drawn up, it is then that the wounds of the soul become obvious to each warrior.”  From Down Range to Iraq and Back, by Bridget C.
