FESG Presents Caring for the Caregiver

The Alaska Federal Health Care Partnership’s Federal Education Sharing Group is hosting Caring for the Caregivers: A Trauma‑Informed Approach to Wellness and the Impact of Vicarious Trauma on February 24, 2026, in Anchorage. This full‑day training explores key topics affecting today’s caregivers, including implicit bias, trauma‑informed care, and the personal and professional impact of vicarious trauma. Participants will also learn practical strategies for self‑care through the Wellness Parka model, which provides tools for managing stress, emotional strain, and compassion fatigue. The event offers up to 7 contact hours.
